Adventure 75: Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar

My sister and our friend Holly have December birthdays, so it was decided to celebrate, we'd meet at Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar in Farmington.

This adventure started in the old part of downtown Farmington, when Google maps directed us there. After a few confused phone calls, we found our way tho this new, fancy, shiny, majestic part of Farmington (on the other side of the freeway) called "Station Park." Think the Gateway 5 years ago, times 4. It's enormous.

After parking on the outskirts of the outside mall, and walking through some windy streets, we found it!

Twigs is quite swanky.

There's an open fire in the middle of the place.

After waiting for close to an hour we got seated right next to it! That's Holly, the fire gave her a lovely halo affect.

Cool light fixtures.

It only took 3 requests, but I finally got a server to snap a shot of us. We were all quite happy with our meals!

My curry dish was the perfect amount. It wasn't an over-indulgent american serving, and the ingredients lent a lot of flavor, texture, and variety. It was fantastic. I slurped it right up.

Susan ordered the oriental salad.

Dyana ordered the salmon.

Natalie ordered some sort of flat-bread pizza.

 Holly had the stake sandwich.

We shared the Nutella creme brulee for dessert. It was as delicious as it sounds.

Time spent on adventure: 2 hours
Money spent: $24.41 (including tip)
Recommendation: 7 out of 10 adventure points! (based on the food, I would give it an 8, but the slow service, and wait time brought it down)
